KeymasterIssue 1: Email content remains in English
When a customer subscribes to an Arabic product) and the product becomes available, the email is sent as expected. However, the email content remains in English, even though all strings like:“Your Subscribed product on Emiratespride is available now”
“Following is the product link:”
“Hi there. You have subscribed to a product. Your subscribed product is available now…”
…are already translated in the system. The product link in the email correctly points to the Arabic version, but the email text itself does not get translated.
Issue 2: Email not triggered when stock status is updated from English product
Here’s what we observed:If we change the English version of the product from “Out of Stock” to “In Stock,” the Arabic version’s stock status syncs correctly (which is great).
However, in this case, the stock notification email is not triggered.
The email is only sent after we open the Arabic product edit page and click “Update” without making any changes.
This means the email trigger seems to be dependent on updating the translated (Arabic) version of the product, rather than recognizing the synced stock change from the default (English) product.

KeymasterHello There, Thank you for sharing the access details.
Our team is currently investigating the two reported issues:
— The email content remains in English.
— The email is not triggered when the stock status is updated from the English product.
To ensure we’re not missing anything, could you please confirm if you’re facing any other translation-related issues on your end?
Also, while we appreciate you sharing the staging site with us, we kindly request your confirmation to proceed with deactivating plugins and switching themes temporarily for debugging purposes.
Looking forward to your response.

ParticipantHi,
Thank you for the response. We would like to clarify our issue with these key points:
We use a translated product (Arabic version of an English product).
Users subscribe from the Arabic product page, and the subscription confirmation emails (to user & admin) are correctly sent in Arabic — no problem here.
When we change the English product’s stock status from “Out of Stock” to “In Stock”, both English and Arabic products are updated (as expected, since they are linked translations), but no “Back in Stock” email is triggered.
✅ Stock status is updated
❌ No email sentHowever, if we open the Arabic product in the admin and just click “Update” (without changing anything), then the “Back in Stock” email gets triggered, but it is sent in English instead of Arabic.

ParticipantIf a user subscribes to an English product and we change its stock status to “In Stock,” the email is sent correctly in English. The issue only occurs with the Arabic product — when a user subscribes to the Arabic version, the stock availability confirmation email should be sent in Arabic even if the stock status is updated from the English product.
the above is actually we needed.
Hope you are understading the problem.
And we are waiting for you with a solution for this.
Thanks

ParticipantHi Support. I checked the staging. Still I’m facing the same issue. No any fix found.
Still I receive “Your Subscribed product on Emiratespride is available now” Once I make update the product from arabic page instead of english.
That means email trigger is not proper or sync with english and arabic product as i mentioned and also if i make it from arabic still the stock avaialble email only in english.
“Your Subscribed product on Emiratespride is available now” this one.
Did you received arabic email once you make it product from outofstock to instock earlier ?
Just check and let me know also mention the steps that you did for testing.
Best Regards,

KeymasterHello Sahith,
May I confirm if the user email you’re testing with, is a registered user on your site?
This functionality relies on the user being registered. WPML checks the email to identify the user and then attempts to detect and apply the language preference associated with that user.
Could I kindly request you to repeat the test using a registered user whose language is set to Arabic? That will help validate if the system is working as expected.
Looking forward to your update.

KeymasterHello There,
Thank you for getting back to us, and we apologize for the delayed response as our office was closed over the weekend.
We’ve checked your site again using a registered user whose account language is set to Arabic. When this user subscribes to an Arabic product, and after we update the English product stock, updating the Arabic product triggers the “in stock” email in Arabic as expected.
You can review our test results here: https://www.awesomescreenshot.com/video/42751232?key=575b768e7f71fb5301512a2197f32ecf.
Could you please check this on your end once again and share your findings with us?

ParticipantHi Support Team,
I hope you’re doing well.
I tested the scenario exactly as shown in your shared video. I set the default language of my test customer account to Arabic and subscribed to an out-of-stock product. When I updated the Arabic version of the product to “in stock,” I received the stock notification email in Arabic:
“المنتج الذي اشتركت فيه على Emiratespride متوفر الآن”
That part works correctly, as demonstrated.
However, the issue arises when updating the English version of the product. Since the products are synchronized through WPML, updating the English product stock status to “in stock” should also trigger the email notification—but it does not. In real usage, admins or store managers will typically update the product status from the English product, not the Arabic one. So the email should be triggered when the English version is updated as well.
Another important point: as you know, most customers register from the front-end using the My Account or Checkout pages. They are not created from the admin panel. Therefore, they don’t have a manually set default language in their WordPress user profile.
Customers might browse and place orders in either English or Arabic based on the selected site language. For example:
If they purchase or subscribe from the Arabic version of the site, they should receive Arabic emails.
If they use the English site, they should receive emails in English.
For guest users (non-logged-in customers), the email language should match the language they were using at the time of subscription.
WooCommerce handles all other transactional emails (order confirmations, etc.) correctly in this way—based on the selected language during the purchase—without requiring any manual language setting in the user account.
Therefore, our request is:
Please ensure that the stock availability email is triggered correctly regardless of which language version (English or Arabic) is updated, and the email is sent in the correct language based on the product page where the user subscribed—just like how WooCommerce handles order emails. This is essential for a proper multilingual user experience, and this logic should be handled by the plugin or email trigger setup on your side.
Thank you for your understanding, and I look forward to your solution.
Best regards,
Sahith K -
